T-Grip linings

For protection of concrete

T-Grip™ manufacture:

T-Grip™  Sheets are manufactured under heat and pressure to form a highly dense extruded sheet of great smoothness.
The surface will not permit the adhesion of slimes or algae and the sheet is easily cleaned and decontaminated any time.
The  resin from which the T-Grip™  is made is thermoplastic and therefore repairable at any point in time over the lifetime of the sheet.

Weldability:

T-Grip™ can be welded by many different methods, including hot air, extrusion and by hot wedge.
The typical value of a hot air weld, carried out by a good field welder is 10 Mpa.

Construction Methods:

T-Grip™ sheets are placed in pipe or structural forms and attached by mechanical means to ensure that they will maintain a fixed position during the pouring of concrete. With the T-Rib or ‘wet side’ always contacting the concrete or mortar or grout, care should be taken in the concrete delivery and consequent vibration of the same, in order to ensure that the concrete has flowed around the projecting T-Ribs fully, prior to setting. Our detailed specifications and method statements  describe the type of tools and fixings that are best used in the construction of T-Grip™ lined structures and pipes etc.

Quality control aspects of T-grip™ lining systems.

The main attractions of the T-Grip™ lining systems are their user friendlyness. This makes them popular with the pipe-making community and contractors everywhere.

KST T-GRIP™ linings are subjected to regular batch testing as part of our ongoing programme of QA/QC which starts at the factory were the linings are made. Our linings go through the following routine tests:

During manufacturing of the lining will there be a constant control of quality and thickness of the lining. Material will be regular tested in the factory laboratory and independent laboratories
Every shipment will be provided with a Quality control certificate with all technical/ tested aspects of the T-Grip™ lining in accordance with ASTM test methods.
Our material will be supplied in accordance with the Standard Specification of Public Works Constructions.
Material has been tested by independent laboratories ( USA and UAE ) in accordance with the specifications mentioned in this Green Book. Test certificates available.
